David W. Wright
David W. Wright, ICD.D, is the Manager, Investment Services, for Angel One Network Inc., a member-based, not-for-profit organization of accredited investors operating in the Halton region. Additionally, through Cassio Capital Advisors Inc., David provides capital markets, corporate finance and transaction advisory services to technology advantaged companies seeking to achieve higher growth and valuation prospects.
David’s financial services career spans almost three decades, with its foundation as an equity research analyst. During his research career, David achieved top ranking status, including being named North America’s #1 stock picker for the Software Sector in 2002. David has been Director of Research for brokerage firms and a private equity fund investing in mainland Chinese enterprises. David has analyzed hundreds of public and private technology companies. As an investment banker, David has raised capital, provided Fairness Opinions, M&A advice, as well as authored valuation assessments offering insight into company’s value drivers.
David has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, a Master of Business Administration, and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program. He is a past board member (audit committee) of a TSXV-technology company, the Private Capital Markets Association of Canada and the Toronto Venture Group.
